This 1891 cottage has been transformed into a contemporary coastal retreat. Once a long-term student flat, it’s purpose has now flipped to cater for a freelance graphic designer and her two teenage boys.

In addition to reworking the layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms, the living area was boldly extended and expanded, inviting generous afternoon light into a high gable space.
